The current Toolmera splitter supports one continuous range per export. Enter a range such as 4-9 to create a new PDF containing pages 4 through 9.
If you need two separate ranges, export them in separate passes. Multiple comma-separated ranges and thumbnail page selection are not part of the current tool yet.
Splitting is useful when only part of a larger document needs to be shared: one chapter from a report, a signature page from a contract, a specific exhibit, or a smaller section from a scanned document.
It is also useful when a large PDF needs to be broken into smaller, more relevant files for email, review or archiving.
